Fare 15 riyals: Important news for passengers from Saudi airports

Riyadh: A new taxi fare has been approved at Saudi airports. A fare of 5 riyals or 15 riyals has been allocated at some airports.

According to Arab media reports, Minister of State for Transport and Logistics Services Engineer Saleh Al-Jasser has approved new tariff rates for taxis at Saudi Arabian airports.

A joint committee comprising representatives of the Saudi Public Transport Authority and the Civil Aviation Department drafted a new tariff for airport taxis, which has now been approved.

The Ministry of Transport (MoT) has said that the implementation of new taxi fares will start at 12 airports of the country with domestic flights.

Taxis at Saudi Arabia’s Qasim, Hail and Tabuk airports will start at 15 riyals.

While taxi fares at Al-Jawf and Arar airports will start from 10 riyals. Similarly, taxi fares from other airports will start from 5 riyals.
