Faker Achieves Rare Pentakill for Second Time in League of Legends Career

Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, the legendary League of Legends player, has done it again. The T1 mid laner just got his second official pentakill in a match against DRX. This happened during the 2025 LCK Spring “First Stage.” Faker turned 29 just a day before this impressive feat. His performance was outstanding, with a KDA of 16/2/4.

Faker’s Pentakill History

Faker’s first pentakill was back in 2015. He played LeBlanc against NaJin in an LCK Spring match. His KDA that game was 10/2/6. You can watch the play here:

A Close Call

In 2022, Faker was about to get his second pentakill with Viktor. However, his teammate, Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun, stole the glory. The LCK Spring match was intense, and Oner ended up with the pentakill. Interestingly, Faker’s two official pentakills are with Ahri and LeBlanc, the champions honored in his Hall of Fame skins.
