Another senior figure has left Haven Studios, raising fresh concerns about the future of Sony’s live service game, Fairgame$. Daniel Drapeau, who served as the game’s director, announced his departure from the studio. He revealed this move on his LinkedIn profile back in August. Drapeau is now heading to Warner Bros Montreal, where he will take on the role of Creative Director for a new, unannounced project.
The news adds to a growing list of troubles for Fairgame$. Haven Studios, a game developer owned by Sony, has been struggling with this title since its reveal in 2023. The game was pitched as a competitive heist experience for PlayStation, where teams would plan and execute robberies against each other within a time limit. However, early previews did not capture much excitement from players.

This isn’t the first high-profile departure from the studio. In mid-May 2025, Jade Raymond, a co-founder and former CEO of Haven Studios, also left the company. On top of that, the game itself has faced several internal delays. These continuous setbacks have fueled rumors that Sony might soon cancel Fairgame$ altogether. Some industry watchers even believe the entire studio could eventually close its doors.
