Fafe, Portugal Hosts Two Enduro World Championship Rounds 2026

Get ready, enduro fans. The town of Fafe is about to become a major stop on the global off-road motorcycle circuit. Organizers announced this Tuesday that Portugal will host two rounds of the 2026 Enduro World Championship. Both of these high-stakes events will take place in Fafe, making it a standout location for the season. Prime Stadium Events, a Portuguese company that promotes the off-road motorcycle world championship, shared the exciting news.

Fafe will welcome riders for the fourth and fifth stages of the championship. Each event will span two thrilling days in June. This double header means extra action for fans and a significant moment for the region. The Natureza Alternativa Moto Club will be in charge of organizing both rounds, promising a well-run show.

These won’t be carbon copies, though. The two Fafe rounds will feature completely different courses and special stages. The first event will challenge riders in the Argande area. A week later, the second event will explore the Revelhe/Estorãos zone, offering fresh obstacles and terrain. This thoughtful planning ensures a unique experience for competitors and spectators alike across both weekends.

Carla Alvarenga, the director of Prime Stadium, couldn’t hide her excitement. “We’re extremely happy to confirm the full 2026 calendar,” she stated. “Portugal once again plays a central role. Fafe will host two weekends in a row, proving itself as a global leader in enduro. It will be a special time, with a huge celebration around the sport.” Her words highlight the importance of this announcement for both the town and the championship.

The 2026 season kicks off with a bang. Riders head to Custonaci, Sicily, Italy, for the first round from April 10 to 12. It’s a big return for Italy, which hasn’t seen a World Championship stage since 2011. The action then moves to Oliana, Spain, from May 1 to 3. After that, the championship travels north to Vierumäki, Finland, for races held between May 22 and 24.

Portugal then takes center stage with the Fafe rounds scheduled for June 12 to 14, followed by the second event from June 19 to 21. Later in the summer, the series heads to Saint-Agrève, France, between July 17 and 19. The grand finale for the 2026 Enduro World Championship will be in Rhayader, Wales, from August 7 to 9. It promises to be a memorable end to a packed season.
