Fabio Quartararo Hails Marc Marquez as the Greatest Rider in MotoGP History, Slams His Braking Prowess

MotoGP World Champion Fabio Quartararo Praises Marc Márquez, Calls Him the Best in History

Fabio Quartararo, the current Monster Energy rider and MotoGP World Champion, has given an exclusive interview to a jewelry and clothing brand, where he spoke about his beginnings in the sport and praised Marc Márquez, comparing him to his idol, Valentino Rossi.

Quartararo’s Thoughts on Márquez

During the chat, Quartararo confessed that his idol is Valentino Rossi, but he also recognizes the greatness of a rider like Marc Márquez. "I like Rossi, but for me, Marc Márquez is the best in history," he said. He praised Márquez’s versatility, saying that he can race regardless of the conditions of each race. Quartararo also remembered when Márquez won the first 10 races in 2014 and commented, "Who is this guy?"

Quartararo’s Insights on Márquez’s Braking Ability

When asked about the advantage Márquez gains over his rivals when braking, Quartararo assured that the Spaniard’s superiority goes beyond that. "It seems like he’s going a second and a half faster than you," he commented.

Quartararo’s Praise for Márquez

This is not the first time that Quartararo has been full of praise for Márquez. "Marc is the best, I have no words to describe him," he said last year when Márquez was going through a difficult time due to injuries. On this occasion, Quartararo has gone one step further and placed Márquez at the top of the MotoGP history rankings.

Quartararo’s Current Situation

Yamaha’s number one rider is taking advantage of the break from competition to unwind and has given this podcast to the clothing brand. In this chat, he has also talked about the moment he is going through in the top category of motorcycling. "We have had many good moments, but now we have more difficult moments. I was used to fighting for the title every year, now I’m fighting for a ninth or tenth position," he said. He also admits that this change initially made him feel very bad, but he has learned to manage it.
