Expomóvil Banreservas closed with 4,400 vehicle financing requests; including 200 electric

The general administrator of the Reserve Bank, Samuel Pereyra, reported that the Expomóvil held this weekend by the financial institution closed with financing requests for some 4,400 units of vehicles for an amount greater than RD $ 7.5 billion.

“In the current context of a pandemic, these are extraordinary results, which exceed our initial expectations, in addition to demonstrating the great support that we have been able to offer to the Dominican family and to the national productive sectors,” he declared.

The note highlights that in addition to facilitating the financing of a vehicle to the Dominican family, this fair also supported the productive sectors and SMEs, with requests for some RD $ 1,500 million, representing some 700 units of cargo vehicles and heavy equipment and machinery. .

Pereyra attributed the success of the fair to the low rates offered, the insurance conditions for the acquirers and the traditional delivery of all the bank’s staff, who maintained high motivation during the four days of the fair.

Other factors that in his opinion contributed to the dynamization of the automotive market is that this is a fair with wide national coverage, having more than 500 fair points, distributed among the more than 300 Banreservas offices and some 250 dealers and dealers that operated simultaneously .
