The event that brings together the different protagonists of the meat industry, will be held from August 25 to 27, 2023 at the facilities in Los Hatillos, Hato Mayor, where it will have a wide and varied agenda of activities, such as: meat exhibitions , business tables, training talks, practical workshops and spaces for leisure, where you can also enjoy tastings, live music and other activities.
The president of the organizing entity, Cisella Favaro, explained that this commercial exhibition seeks to be the most varied presentation of meat products in the country.
“Expo Carne Hato Mayor 2023 is a fair that was born with the purpose of being the most effective business showcase for the development and promotion of meat as a star product. Our commitment is that the entire Dominican Republic knows the richness and quality of the products of our province,” said Favaro.
The platform is designed to be used by ranchers, farmers, dairy companies, meat processing and sales companies, ecotourism entrepreneurs, agribusinesses, and related areas.
The executive director of the cluster, Carolina ValentÃn, commented that “thank God, the last edition received great support, and for this year many producers are already showing interest, for which we invite those who have not yet decided to participate, to Reserve your spaces in advance.
The president of the Eastern Region Cattlemen’s Cooperative (Coopagareste), Gustavo Santana, affirmed the commitment of this entity to the economic development of the province.
“It is a high priority for the livestock and agricultural sector of Hato Mayor, to be recognized for the production levels we have, as well as for the quality of the varied range of products we offer, both for the tourism sector and for national consumption” Santana pointed out.
The event will include an exhibition of animals, a cattle auction, a rodeo, tastings of cuts of meat and spaces for the sale of handicrafts, among other activities.
The Hato Mayor Ecotourism and Agribusiness Cluster aims to encourage and promote sustainable and responsible development of ecotourism and agribusiness in the province.
