Exhibition of Barça against Granada

Barça closed a perfect week, with three victories, after beating Covirán Granada in a comfortable game thanks to a magnificent start. The azulgranas scored 21 of the first 22 field goals, with seven triples, accumulating an income that allowed them to live calmly for the rest of the game. Granada fought (it reached eleven) but was never in a position to win the match. Higgins and Vesley shone again, great news for Barça, while Felicio and especially Bropleh pulled the visiting car.

Barça played an impeccable first quarter. Literally. He shot 16 times to the basket and scored 15. Good shot selection, Granada’s poor defense and a very toned Kuric (4 triples). This is the short summary, because in the long one more protagonists appear. The first Kalinic, successful from the outside and dangerous from the inside, but also Nnaji. A beast, a player called to do important things if he minimizes his defects, which he added in attack and intimidated in defense. And Jokubaitis, who continued thanks to his passes with the offensive festival of Barça. Felicio appeared from Granada, not Renfroe, seeing himself doubled on the scoreboard too soon (28-14).

Unfortunately for Granada, Higgins joined the party. The North American scored a lot and very easily, either shooting alone or disengaging from his mark. Between him and Kuric, eight of eight in triples. Granada looked for individual solutions to add a basket, but Barça threatened to break the game at the beginning of the second quarter. 45-25 with 12 minutes played. At 15, they had still missed a single shot. An atrocity.

Coviran Granada parried the blow. In the first place because, how could it be otherwise, Barça began to fail. Something reasonable, since he started the game with a 21 of 22 shooting from the field. But also for himBropleh’s points. The best of the visitors, he carried all the offensive weight of his team. At halftime the advantage was obviously Barça, but not as scandalous as it could have been (57-42).

The difference was shortened or lengthened depending on who was more in tune on a personal level. Felicio and Bropleh’s baskets put their team down 13, but Satoransky’s assists and baskets stopped any hint of a comeback (71-51). Despite this, Granada kept trying. With a favorable partial, they got back to 11 and kept that distance until the end of the quarter (78-66).

Covirán Granada did not throw in the towel or lose face to the game in the last minutes but, as expected, the victory did not escape Barça. Because the rent for the first room was very large and because Vesely, immense in the last quarter, closed the door to any surprise. Jasikevicius also gave minutes to Caicedo and Villar.
