Everything is ready to celebrate the awards gala for the 2021 Dominican Football League season.
It is that this Wednesday, in the Auditorium of the Dominican Sports Pavilion of Fame, the Quisqueyan football family will gather to recognize the great protagonists of the recently concluded season.
The ceremony will be attended by personalities from soccer and national sports; as leaders, ex-footballers, Olympic medalists, renowned communicators, among others.
At the Gala, the footballers with outstanding performance throughout the season that conceived Cibao FC as champions will be awarded.
On the other hand, there were four award categories in which the technical directors and team captains participated directly with the vote; the awards are the MVP of the season, the coach of the year, the revelation player of the tournament and the most outstanding U21.
In addition, the goal of the year was a public election that was held for five days on the official social media profiles of the LDF, in which all national soccer fans had the opportunity to vote.
Other award categories, such as Fair Play, Ideal Eleven and Under-21 Ideal Eleven, Scorer of the Year, Goalkeeper Least Thrashed, were determined using purely statistical criteria.
Finally, there will be recognition for the photographer who shot the photo of the year and the best performing referees.
Public Health will receive recognition:
The Ministry of Public Health will receive a special recognition from all the components of the Dominican Football League for the invaluable contribution they made towards the resounding success of more than 7 months of competition.
