Everton fixes on two discards of Arteta at Arsenal

As reported by the prestigious British media The Sun and has replicated CalcioMercato on its website, the Everton has put in his gaze two discards of the Arsenal for the next winter transfer market with the intention of improving Rafa Benítez’s squad.

The intention of the Toffee set is to incorporate pieces that can offer a more complete renovation to the Spanish coach, who has asked the directive for signings to be able to compete against all the injuries they have suffered at this beginning of the season. A case very similar to the one that Carlo Ancelotti suffered last season, which made it difficult for him to fight to qualify for European competitions in the Premier League.

The two Arsenal players watching Everton for the winter

-Calum Chambers: He has no place in the central or right-back rotation with the arrival of names like Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu, who have established themselves as starters. He is a footballer who has not played at the beginning of the season due to his low level and the few opportunities that Arteta has given him.

-Maitland-Niles: A case similar to that of Chambers. He does not have space in the rotation in any of the positions he can occupy, unless it is in specific cases. Everton follows him closely and would offer him to be a constant starter or, at least, to be one of the first changes due to the need they have to reinforce their rotation.
