Evangeline Lilly Suffers Facial Injuries and Seizure

Evangeline Lilly, the talented actress from the movie “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” recently shared a shocking photo on social media. The picture shows her face covered in blood with severe injuries on her nose and lips, along with stitches.

As she recounted the incident, Lilly explained that she was walking on the beach when she suddenly fainted and fell, hitting her face on a rock. She shared that the medical team at the hospital was more concerned about finding the cause of her fainting spell than treating her visible injuries.

The actress revealed that she has been experiencing fainting spells since she was a little girl. Initially, doctors suspected epilepsy, but after ruling that out, they diagnosed her with hypoglycemia, a condition characterized by low blood sugar. However, Lilly noted that even after fasting for 12 hours and fainting, her glucose levels never dropped, which negates the hypoglycemia diagnosis.

Lilly believes that her fainting spells are connected to her emotional well-being. She stated that when she’s under too much stress or feeling overwhelmed, her soul seems to leave her body, and she loses consciousness. She expressed gratitude for the fainting spell, saying it was a much-needed escape.

In her Instagram post, Lilly shared a selfie showing her injured face, with a caption that read, “I fainted on the beach and face-planted into a rock.” She also mentioned that the medical team was more focused on understanding the reason behind her fainting than treating her wounds. The actress seems to be using this experience as an opportunity for self-reflection and healing.
