KABUL: Citizens continue to flee Afghanistan after the Afghan Taliban took control.

According to Afghan media reports, in the last 24 hours, 18,600 Afghans have left Afghanistan and moved to other countries, where they will live as refugees.

Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said more than 35,000 Afghans had fled the country since August 14.

In his statement, Zabihullah Mujahid once again appealed to Afghan citizens not to leave the country. “We value the educated class,” he said.

According to the spokesman of the Afghan Taliban, transferring educated Afghan citizens to unknown places is a big conspiracy against Afghanistan.

Earlier, in his second press conference, Zabihullah Mujahid told the media that “there is a large number of people at Kabul airport. The United States is luring Afghan citizens out to continue its policy.” They call him at the airport and open fire when the crowd grows.

He advised the citizens gathered at Kabul airport to remain calm and calm and appealed to them to go back to their homes and not to worry about anything as we are their brothers.

A spokesman for the Afghan Taliban said: “Roads leading to Kabul airport have been carefully closed. We assure citizens that they will return home from the airport. No one will be told.”
