Bitcoin (BTC) is currently falling sharply, after the price of another this morning higher high tapped above $25,000. Many altcoins are dropping a lot harder this morning.
The market already started talking about a so-called altcoin season or alt season last weekend, but is already becoming a lot more reserved. The total market cap of all cryptocurrencies is back below $1.2 trillion after falling 4% in the past 24 hours.

Ethereum is down 5%
Ethereum (ETH) briefly climbed above USD 2,000 this morning, but it was already a slightly lower high than yesterday morning. Subsequently, ETH also started to fall sharply, arriving back at $1,900 at the time of writing. The price seems to be holding there for now, although there was already a dip to $1,890. ETH currently stands at $1,903 and is down 5% today.

BNB, DOGE, XRP in the minus
The peak of binance coin (BNB) this morning was already a lot lower than yesterday, but the price then plummeted less hard. BNB currently stands at $317 and is down 3.6% today. Dogecoin (DOGE) already peaked at $0.083 last night, but is currently falling back to $0.76, which means the price is down 4%. Ripple (XRP) is currently falling back to $0.37 and is down 4.6%.
AVAX, ADA, MATIC, SOL, DOT fall faster
Avalanche (AVAX) is already down 6% in the last 24 hours and currently stands at $27.9. Cardano (ADA) fell back to $0.55 this morning and is down 6.6%. Polygon (MATIC) peaked at $1.05 on Sunday but is now falling to $0.96 and also 6.6% in minus Solana (SOL) was unable to recapture $48 last weekend and is now falling to $44, with the price even down 6.8%. Polkadot (DOT) is the biggest loser among the largest crypto, falling 7.1% to $8.8.
SHIB still in the plus
Yet a price is still just green under the largest crypto today. Shiba inu (SHIB) started rising sharply on Sunday morning, reaching as high as $0.0000176 last night. That was an increase of almost 40% in half a day. However, SHIB also fell sharply this morning and the price comes in at $0.0000157. This means that SHIB is only 0.5% in the plus compared to 24 hours ago.

Crypto top 100 hardest fallers and risers
Below the top 100 we have much harder falls. Maker (MKR), fantom (FTM), loop ring (LRC), thorchain (RUNE), chainlink (LINK), apecoin (APE), bitcoin cash (BCH), neo (NEO), synthetix (SNX), axie infinity (AXS), enjin coin (ENJ), lido (LDO), tezos (XTZ), quant (QNT) theta (THETA), curve (CRV), eos (EOS) and mina (MINA) all about 7% in the minus today.
Graph (GRT) and Uniswap (UNI) are down about 8% in the past 24 hours. Bitdao (BIT) is down 12% and Celsius (CEL), which rose sharply last week, is down 21% today.
However, not the entire top 100 is red. Stepn (GMT) is still almost 2% in the plus and leo (LEO) even almost 8%.
