Estudiantes endured with two less and won in Bolivia for the South American

The victory of Estudiantes 1-0 against Oriente Petrolero in Bolivia for their debut in the Copa Sudamericana had profiles of featwhere it shares an area with Bragantino from Brazil and Tacuary from Paraguay.

The La Plata team played a large part of the game with two less men due to the expulsions of Santiago Ascacíbar in the first half and Luciano Lollo (very poorly cast) in the second. But could define it 18 minutes into the complement with a goal from Leonardo Godoywho connected a pass from Benjamín Rollheiser entering the far post after a good combination with Fernando Zuqui.

Oriente Petrolero wasted the advantage it had and which was recently reduced towards the end, after the expulsion of defender Juan Mercado. It was diluted in an unproductive handling of the ball. Estudiantes, on the other hand, knew how to resist without losing order and could even have increased: Mateo Pellegrino had two chances at the end to increase a victory that rewards the team that was able to adapt to adversity.
