Essonne: a call for witnesses launched after the abandonment of a child at Juvisy station

A call for witnesses was launched this Monday, October 25 by the national police of Essonne (91), to find the parents of an abandoned child at the RER station of Juvisy-sur-Orge on Friday afternoon.

“The investigators of Juvisy are launching a call for witnesses to find the mother or any person likely to bring elements”, thus communicated the national police force this Monday afternoon. The text is accompanied by a photo of a young child aged about 1 year in his stroller.

The child was abandoned on the station platform

According to the police, the facts took place Friday, October 22 in Juvisy-sur-Orge station, around 5:30 p.m., when a woman – who was in the RER C from Versailles (78) – asked a man for help, so that he could take his child while she got off the stroller of the train.

Once the stroller was placed on the platform, this woman “of African type, fair skin with normal build” and “measuring about 1m65” would then be put back on the train, just before the doors closed, leaving the child in the room. arm of the man who had helped him.

Without news of this woman since, the police officers thus forwarded her description as well as the dress she wore on Friday, October 22 – a black and white patterned jogging, a black cap as well as patterned sneakers -, hoping that someone would have seen something.
