Enrique Iglesias recently performed for thousands of fans in Mumbai, India. During the sold-out concert, a video of a couple went viral across social media platforms. The footage captured a public marriage proposal that ended in rejection.

Amidst a crowd of approximately 25,000 attendees, a man knelt to propose to a woman. She quickly declined the proposal and moved away from the scene.

The video quickly ignited discussion on social media. Netizens offered a range of reactions, from mocking the man to commending his courage.

Some users suggested the man “deserves another chance.” Others praised his respectful acceptance of the rejection. One comment read, “He didn’t swear, he accepted the rejection with respect… at least he had the guts to do it in public.”

The concert, Enrique Iglesias’s third visit to India, was held at the MMRDA Ground in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex. His previous visits were in 2000 and 2012.

The pop superstar’s performance captivated fans for approximately 90 minutes. Many Bollywood stars were in attendance, including Malaika Arora, Rakul Preet, Jackky Bhagnani, Vidya Balan, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Gurmeet, Debina Bonnerjee, and Rahul Vaidya.
