Change in England’s Playing XI
England has announced its playing XI for the second match of the series, with Mark Wood replacing James Anderson, who has retired after the first match. This will be the first time England will play a home Test without Anderson or Stuart Broad since 2012.

Anderson will be seen in a new role as bowling mentor after his last Test match for England. England managing director Rob Key has confirmed that Anderson will remain with the team throughout the summer.
