England announced squad for the fifth test, changes are seen in playing the eleven

England have announced a 14-member squad for the fifth and final Test of the Ashes series. Let us tell you that Australia is ahead 2-1 in this five game series. In reality, England’s nearly won fourth Test was raffled due to rain, after which the Ashes trophy will now stay with Australia.

If the England team win the fifth and final test of the series, the 2023 Ashes series will be drawn 2-2, but the trophy will remain in the hands of Australia, as the Kangaroos won the previous Ashes series.

By the fourth Test, England had thrown it all away. Their victory was also almost certain, but Australia was lucky. The fourth test ended in a draw due to rain washing away almost half of the game on day four and all of day five.

Now, in the fifth Test, Ben Stokes’s side have a chance to avoid losing the series. England have not made any changes to their squad for the fifth and final Test. However, despite this, changes can be seen in the playing eleven.

Even before the fifth Test, England captain Ben Stokes has indicated a change in the playing eleven. The BBC quoted Stokes as saying that we are very tired. Before the Oval Test, we have to see who is fully fit and who is not.

Senior fast bowler James Anderson is believed to be able to rest in the fifth Test. Young Josh Tang is expected to get a chance in his place. Apart from this, no changes are expected in the eleven of the game.

Ben Stokes (captain), Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Jonny Bairstow, Stuart Broad, Ollie Robinson, Joe Root, Josh Tong, Harry Brook, Jack Crawley, Ben Duckett, Dan Lawrence, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood.
