Emraan Hashmi Hospitalized With Dengue During OG Film Shoot

Emraan Hashmi’s latest project has hit a roadblock. The Bollywood actor, who was busy shooting for Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film “OG” in Mumbai, has been diagnosed with dengue fever. As a result, the film’s production has come to a temporary halt.

According to sources close to the film’s production unit, Emraan was shooting in the Aarey Colony area of Goregaon when he started experiencing symptoms of dengue. Although he’s on the road to recovery, the actor has decided to take a break from filming.

“OG,” also known as “They Call Him OG,” is an upcoming gangster action thriller directed by Sujit and starring Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, and Priyanka Mohan. This film marks Emraan’s debut in the Telugu film industry. The music for the film is being composed by Thaman.

In other news, Emraan recently announced the sequel to his 2007 film “Awarapan” on his birthday. The film is set to release on April 3, 2026, but details about the director and cast are still under wraps.

As Emraan takes time to focus on his health, fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the screens. With a slew of exciting projects in the pipeline, including “OG” and the “Awarapan” sequel, it’s clear that Emraan is all set to make a powerful comeback in the world of cinema.
