Emmanuel Macron in Russia: a start of negotiations on the situation in Ukraine?

In a press conference, the tension rises and Vladimir Putin is threatening towards Westerners. “If Ukraine is a member of NATO and recovers Crimea by military means, European countries will be drawn into a conflict with Russia. You will not even have time to react”, he said. The next morning, Emmanuel Macron claims to have obtained from Vladimir Putin that there are no new escalations between Russia and Ukraine.
