Emiliano Aguilar: Raw Confessions on Aguilar Dynasty Rift, Financial Woes

When Juan José Emiliano Aguilar, better known as Emiliano, sat down for a chat, he wasn’t holding back. The 32-year-old artist delivered one of the most candid interviews of his life. Speaking with journalist Tanya Charry on ‘El Gordo y la Flaca,’ Emiliano shared sad and surprising truths. These put him in a very vulnerable spot.

He wants to rise in the music world. He calls himself strong and brave. But he also showed the emotional emptiness from his family’s conflicts. The distance from the famous Aguilar Dynasty has left a deep mark.

Beyond the Tough Exterior

Many see Emiliano’s tattoos and think ‘tough guy.’ But he quickly revealed that tough guys still need love. ‘No matter how tattooed and brave one is,’ he shared, ‘one always wants their father’s love.’ He confessed that even if his tattoos show a tough, independent man, he believes a father’s love is essential and he would like to receive it. It turns out, behind that image, there’s a lot of sadness. He admitted, ‘I’m never happy, I’m always sad.’ He’s constantly thinking about his family’s distance and asking himself many questions about their estrangement.

The Social Media Storm and Money Matters

This raw honesty comes after some public back-and-forths with the famous Aguilar clan. Emiliano recently posted videos on Instagram, sparking a public spat. These videos caused a controversial response from the Aguilar family. They even clapped back with memes featuring their dog, Gordo. The heat got turned up when his father, Pepe Aguilar, spoke about Emiliano’s ex-partner, Carmen Treviño. Pepe talked about the separation that distanced them. Pepe claimed, ‘I didn’t leave, her mom took him (Emiliano). We lived in Mexico City… One day she opted to go.’ Emiliano didn’t stay quiet. He fired back with his own videos and messages. He stood up for his mother and questioned his father’s story.

Some might think all this social media drama is a grab for fame or money. But Emiliano set the record straight: ‘Everyone thinks I do this to make money, but I have no money.’ He pointed to his flashy jewelry and clothes, admitting, ‘All this you see is gifted.’ He clarified that the social media exchanges were not to make money from content or become famous. He confessed that the striking chains and garments he wears he didn’t buy himself; they are gifts.

So, what is his income? He clarified that his only earnings come from TikTok, where he’s built a following of over 2.4 million. This income, about $2,000, he dedicates to the mother of his two daughters. As a rising rap artist, Emiliano offers varied content on TikTok. This includes music promotions, entertainment live streams, jokes, memes, interviews, and glimpses into his daily life.

Painful Snubs

The emotional hits don’t stop there. Emiliano revealed he found out about his sister Ángela Aguilar’s wedding to Christian Nodal on Instagram. Talk about a cold shoulder! He pointed out that their relationship wasn’t even bad at the time, just distant and normal. This snub happened at a moment when they didn’t even get along badly, but rather the relationship was normal, although distant. He’s also deeply hurt by a comment from Ángela. ‘My sister (Ángela) said she gave me money,’ he stated, ‘and I’ve never asked them for a cent.’ He made it clear he’s never sought financial help from Ángela or Pepe, even when times were tough and he had come to need it. He assured this has been one of the episodes that has hurt him most with his family.

Reconciliation on Hold

So, what about a family reunion? Journalist Tanya Charry asked if reconciliation with his father was possible. Emiliano was direct: ‘Not now, not from my side.’ He said he wouldn’t call Pepe, and he wouldn’t even answer if his father called him. His goal right now is to prove himself as an artist. He wants to rise in the music world on his own terms. He wants to do this without the Aguilar name as his crutch. Only after he achieves that, he says, will he think about making peace with his family.
