Elon Musk builds own ChatGPT, warns of total destruction

You probably know the revolutionary ChatGPT; a chatbot based on artificial intelligence, also known as artificial intelligence. This has of course not gone unnoticed by multimillionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk. He has announced that he will be developing his own AI chatbot called TruthGPT. He told this to Fox News.

What is TruthGPT?

According to Musk, TruthGPT will be trained to explore the mysteries of the universe. It must become an AI system that determines ‘truths’. A so-called ‘truth-seeking AI’.

“I’m going to start something I call TruthGPT, or maximum truth-seeking AI, that tries to understand the nature of the universe.”

According to Musk. It’s a response to the popular ChatGPT mentioned earlier, but it has a notably political tinge. According to Musk, ChatGPT is very problematic, because it would be “programmed by left-wing experts who train chatbots to lie.”

Musk expresses concerns about AI

In the interview with Fox News, earlier today for over $780 million settled for spreading liesMusk warned of AI’s potential to destroy civilization:

“AI is more dangerous than, say, poorly managed aircraft design or production maintenance or poor car manufacturing in that it has the potential, however small one may estimate that probability, but it is not trivial; it has the potential for the destruction of civilization.”

Musk previously expressed his concerns about AI and its very rapid development. For example, Musk signed a petition in which 2600 experts and scientists call a halt to the development of artificial intelligence. TruthGPT, according to Musk, can break away from these concerns and embark on a safe path.

“I think this is the best path to safety in the sense that an AI that cares about the universe is not inclined to wipe out humans because we are an interesting part of the universe.”

Musk also recently announced plans to use AI to combat manipulation of public opinion on his Twitter platform. Musk also recently bought no less than ten thousand GPUs. Whether these are also intended for the development of his latest project TruthGPT is not yet known.

Despite Musk expressing his concerns about AI and signing a petition about it as mentioned earlier, he doesn’t seem to be turning his back on AI.
