Elis reiterates its 2022 objectives after a first quarter of growth

(AOF) – Elis published a turnover for the first quarter of 2022 up 26.5% to 832.8 million euros. It was driven in particular by activity in Hotels and Restaurants (around 25% of total pre-Covid revenue), which showed a sharp rebound despite the negative impact of the Omicron variant, mainly in January. The hygiene and maintenance services company also pointed out that price dynamics had been favorable on all of its markets, in a context of high cost inflation.

The group’s six geographies posted double-digit organic growth: organic growth was particularly strong in France (+30.8%), Southern Europe (+52.9%) and the UK & Ireland (+38.5%), areas in which the share of hotels and restaurants is the highest.

“This good quarterly performance reinforces our confidence in the overall outlook for 2022 that we communicated last March, when announcing our 2021 annual results”, declared Xavier Martiré, Chairman of the Elis Management Board. .

The group thus reiterated its 2022 objectives, namely: organic growth in 2022 annual revenue of 13% to 15%, an EBITDA margin of around 33.5%, an EBIT of around 500 million euros, as well as a net current result per share up by almost 40%, at around 1.35 euro.
