Elijah Tatis, younger brother of Major League Baseball star Fernándo Tatis Jr, suffered an accident while riding a motorcycle, in which he suffered injuries to one of his hands and left foot.
Elijah, 21, is also a baseball player and is currently without a team in professional baseball, after being fired by the Chicago White Sox.
The youngest of the Tatis dynasty signed for a $500,000 bonus in the 2019-2020 international period.
Baudilio Jiménez, a sports journalist for Telemicro Media and the Diamante Deportivo space, released the information through his social networks.
It should be noted that Jiménez was also the one who spread the news of Fernando Tatis Jr.’s accident in the country at the end of 2021, a fact that the player publicly denied and later confirmed by the Padres’ own organization.
The player underwent surgery on his left wrist as a result of the accident, missing much of the season, before being suspended for using prohibited substances.
