Elías and Rivas elected Star Players, Bolívar Valera receives medal of merit

Webster Rivas as batter and pitcher Roenis Elías were selected as the best players of the week that ended last Friday in the seventh installment of the Star Player of the Week.

During the activity, the comedian, communicator and influencer Bolivar Valera was honored with the merit medal.

In a production by Américo Celado for Andrés Van Der Horst, with the compilation by Julio Andrés López, more than 90 sportswriters participated in person and online, who were in charge of selecting the most outstanding players.

The Star Player of the Week was attended by the former president of Lidom, Leonardo Matos Berrido; Joel Villalona of 4Jacks Restaurant; Rafael Díaz from the ACD; together with Andrés Van Der Horst and Bolívar Valera heading the table of honor.

The competition for the mention of the offensive player was very close, being in second place Reiner Núñez, who lost by just 4 votes. Erik González, Ronny Mauricio and Aneury Tavárez received votes.

In the pitcher category, the decision in favor of Elías was very easy, with Domingo Robles, Ronald Bolaños, César Valdez and Carlos Martínez receiving votes.
