Eldense Strengthens Defenses with Arrival of Fran Gámez and Nacho Quintana
Third arrival in the ranks of Eldense, where Dani Ponz’s men continue to shore up the rearguard with the arrival of Fran Gámez.
Fran Gámez, a defender born on July 27, 1991, in Sagunto, joins Eldense after his time at Real Zaragoza, where he played since the 2021-2022 season, participating in 33 games and scoring one goal. The 31-year-old defender began his career in Acero CD and Atlético Saguntino before joining the Maño team. Fran stands out for his offensive depth from the side, with good definition, generating dangerous chances, as well as his defensive intensity.
Nacho Quintana, from Lugo
On Thursday, Eldense confirmed the signing of Toledo native Nacho Quintana, born on February 23, 2001, who has signed a contract with the Alicante entity until June 30, 2026. The 21-year-old attacker arrives from Lugo of the First RFEF, where he has accumulated over 3,000 minutes, six goals, and two assists. Nacho trained in the quarry of Atlético de Madrid and Sevilla, making his debut with Sevilla in the Copa del Rey.
Nacho’s features include a versatile game, developing offensive positions, usually as a second striker, although he also adapts to both wings. With good interior play and the ability to find spaces, he is characterized as a dynamic and mobile player.
