The president even thanked everyone who ‘cheap’ sold their Bitcoin to him.
At the time of writing, the country owns approximately 2,381 Bitcoin. El Salvador has paid more than 105 million dollars for the purchase of these BTC tokens. However, the recent price drop has lowered the value of these tokens to $60 million. According to their finance minister, the ongoing bearish market has no impact on the national economy.
