Dalkia, a subsidiary of EDF specializing in energy services, announced on Monday May 23 the sale of all of its activities in Russia to local management. “Present in Russia since 2016, Dalkia carried out a limited activity there, less than 5 million euros in annual turnover”, specified the company in a brief press release. “Dalkia provided essential services, such as the production of compressed air or the treatment of effluents to industrialists mainly of French origin”, added the subsidiary of EDF.
According to Dalkia’s website, the establishment of its Russian subsidiary Dalkia Rus dates back to 2016 and this entity is one of the pioneers of the energy services sector in Russia. It offers a wide range of services to its industrial customers, in order to optimize the energy efficiency of their installations: heating, compressed air, biogas, etc. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, many Western companies left the Russian market.
