London: People in UK are facing another problem after the economic crisis, citizens are suffering from various problems related to transportation due to non-availability of public transport.

London bus drivers have started a strike after the economic crisis started in the UK, the disputes over the payment of wages in the UK and then the bus drivers’ strike have created problems for the people of this country.

According to the National World report, United Kingdom’s Unit Labor Union has announced that sixteen bus drivers have started a forty-eight-hour strike. The report states that severe problems have arisen in transport in different areas of the UK.

Britain’s Unit Labor Union says that the rate of inflation in Great Britain is 12.3% and labor wages are being demanded to be increased by 3.6% for 2022 and 4.2% for 2023. And that’s why this strike has been done.

The spokesperson of the strikers has emphasized on negotiations and increasing the salaries of drivers in this regard. The strike action will affect workers based at the following London United Bus depots, including Fullwell, Hounslow, Hounslow Heath, Park Royal, Shepherd’s Bush, Stamford Brook, and Tolworth.

In this context, United Regional Officer Michelle Breboy said that this strike will cause a lot of damage to passengers across London.

The dispute is the company’s own, it could have offered its workers decent wages but chose not to, so it now faces the prospect of highly disruptive strike action.
