EasyJet announces that it will cut more flights during the summer holidays

The British airline EasyJet cheap flights announced on Monday its plans to carry out further flight cuts this summer.

The low-cost company had previously indicated that between the next July and September it would operate around 97% of its services compared to the levels registered before the pandemic, although now he clarified that the percentage will be 90%.

The airline also revealed that there will be flight cancellations at other airports throughout its network, without specifying how many will be affected, but assured that it will notify affected passengers in time and offer them the possibility of making a new reservation on alternative flights.

The cancellations of the services are due, as explained by the company, to recent operational problems, including the shortage of ground personnel as well as delays in air traffic controls.

EasyJet CEO Johan Lundgren said today that he hopes the airline will be able to "rearrange" passengers who will be affected by the suspensions.

That manager also apologized for the company not having "able to provide the service" what customers expected of her.

EasyJet also noted that there will be a "cost impact" product of the alterations, without taking into account that the fuel "will exceed" the previous guidelines.
