Earthquake-stricken Syria: 40 hours later, the entire family was pulled alive from the rubble

Tragic and mournful scenes are being seen after the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, however, a video has been released that has sent a wave of joy around the world.

According to the Arab media report, after 40 hours of continuous efforts, rescuers rescued the whole family, including several children, from the rubble of the earthquake-damaged building in Syria.

A new video posted by the Instagram account “Malham Team” shows an entire family being rescued from the rubble after more than 40 hours of tireless work by civil defense in northern Syria.

According to the video, as soon as the rescue workers pulled the last member of the family from the wreckage, there was a wave of joy everywhere and the whole area echoed with slogans of “Allahu Akbar”.

The team engaged in relief work wrote on their Instagram account. “Alhamdulillah, we were able to see such beautiful news, this video has given great hope in our souls to save the remaining families.”

At least 900 people have been killed and 2,300 injured in opposition-held northwest Syria, and the toll is expected to rise “significantly,” the White Helmets Rescue Team announced today.

At least 812 people were killed and 1,449 wounded in the government-held provinces of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama, Idlib and Tartus, Syrian state news agency SANA reported.

A 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and neighboring Syria in the early hours of Monday, destroying thousands of buildings, including many residential buildings and hospitals. More than 11,500 people have been killed so far, while thousands of people have been injured and left homeless.

The World Health Organization has expressed fear that the death toll may exceed 20,000.
