Eagles elect Víctor García Sued president of the board of directors

Mr. Víctor García Sued was elected president of the Board of Directors of Águilas Cibaeñas SAS, during the company’s annual meeting held at noon this Friday in the hall of the Cibao Stadium, its registered office.

García Sued replaces Quilvio Hernández Casanova, who now became Vice President of the Council, after presiding over the eaglets for the last two years, in which the team won a championship title (22) and another Caribbean Series (6).

The Ad-Vitam presidents, Winston “Chilote” Llenas, José A. Vega Imbert, Reynaldo “Papi” Bisonó and Juan Álvarez Piola will accompany him on the board that will lead the 2022-2023 season. Fabio A. Jorge was also elected Treasurer and the Ing. Luis Gobaira, secretary. The members are Dr. Adriano Valdez Russo, Mrs. Tania Hernández, Dr. Fernando Valdez, Lionel García and the architect Kristen Castro. The shareholders’ meeting elected Messrs. José Armando Bermudez, Dr. Luis Campos, Mrs. Isabel Rosario de la Maza, Yamel Llenas, Rafael Vargas and Rosa Gobaira as advisors.

Víctor García Sued will preside over the Águilas Cibaeñas for the first time, after exhausting a journey through various management positions, including vice-presidency and treasury in recent years.

The shareholders’ meeting also met and approved the annual management report, relating to the fiscal year that began on April 1, 2021 and ended on March 31, 2022.

He also learned about the inventory, accounts and balance sheet for the fiscal year closed in March, of the management of the Board of Directors.
