Electronic Arts is pressing on with its Marvel games despite canceling the Black Panther project.
Three new titles are in the works, including an Iron Man game led by Motive Studio.
Motive is behind the Dead Space Remake.
Their Iron Man game will be a single-player, action-adventure experience.
Andrew Wilson, EA’s president, wants to focus on original IPs rather than licensed ones.
However, the team believes Marvel is a strong enough IP to warrant more games.
Other Marvel games in development include Wolverine from Insomniac, Blade from Arkane, and Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra from Skydance.
EA’s Marvel Lineup
EA and Marvel Games are still working together to bring Marvel characters to PC and consoles.
The partnership will continue, with multiple games in development.
Motive Studio announced its Iron Man game on Twitter, saying it’s an “exciting new adventure” for the studio.
Upcoming Marvel Games
- Iron Man from Motive Studio
- Wolverine from Insomniac
- Blade from Arkane
- Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra from Skydance
Fans will have to wait and see what other Marvel games EA has in store.
