Dybala, Chiesa and Morata have a feast

His season in Serie A is being disastrous, but the Champions version of Juventus continues to add victories. Against Zenit, Allegri’s men achieved their fourth win in a row, sealing their place in the round of 16 two days in advance.

It was the perfect night that the Bianconeri needed after the league disappointments, and the Turinese made their intentions clear from the first minute, dominating the game without pauses. Almost everything passed through the feet of Paulo Dybala, who, little by little, is showing his best version again.

The Argentine hit the post with a right hand from the edge of the area and, shortly after, opened the can with his left foot in a corner combed by De Ligt. The forward, with that goal, surpassed the 104 of Platini de bianconero and celebrated it by imitating his iconic pose from 1985.

The only mole of the night came before the break when Bonucci, with an unfortunate and spectacular header, scored 1-1 against a cross from Karavaev. The second part began with controversy. The referee awarded a penalty for a dubious foul by Claudinho on Chiesa and Dybala missed it. The braid, however, ordered it to be repeated because two defenses invaded the area before time, and the ‘Jewel’ repeated an almost identical launch, although this time more precise: 2-1.

Malcom jumped onto the field and tried to wake up his people, but The Juventine party continued with a personal move by McKennie that finished off the wood, a goal from the unstoppable Federico Chiesa and another from Morata, a pass from Dybala himself, who ended the Spanish drought after seven games.

Azmoun’s goal on the horn reminded Vecchia Signora that his defensive problems, very serious, are still there. With this win, however, Juve will be able to almost forget about the Champions League until February. Now it’s time to come back in Calcio: Allegri must get down to work.
