Funcom has launched a new, time-limited free trial for its survival massively multiplayer online game “Dune: Awakening,” offering players 10 hours of gameplay and a 25% discount on the full purchase.
This trial allows participants to join any server and interact with existing players, a significant change from previous free-play events. All progress made during the trial period will transfer to the full game if purchased.
The 10-hour free trial is available until November 27. The 25% discount on the game purchase extends until December 1.
Players can explore the desert planet Arrakis, navigate the Hagga Basin, and seek out the indigenous Fremen. The game’s narrative and environment are drawn from Frank Herbert’s popular “Dune” universe.

Funcom indicates this is an opportune moment to experience “Dune: Awakening.” The game has received extensive content additions and improvements since its initial release.
These updates include new stories, contracts, and items. Combat mechanics have been enhanced. Players will find new events, increased variety, and general quality-of-life adjustments, alongside improvements in stability and performance.
