The highly anticipated MMO survival game, Dune: Awakening, is set to hit PC on June 10, 2025. Players who opt for the Deluxe or Ultimate editions will get early access starting June 5.
The game’s storyline takes place in an alternate timeline where Paul Atreides never existed. The planet Arrakis is embroiled in a civil war between House Atreides and House Harkonnen, with the Fremen mysteriously vanishing.

In Dune: Awakening, players take on the role of a Bene Gesserit agent, searching for the Fremen while navigating the harsh desert environment.
The game combines survival mechanics, base-building, and resource gathering with PvE and PvP combat, all set within a vast open world that can support hundreds of players per server. The character creation system is robust, letting players pick visual details, planet of origin, and mentors like Mentat, Swordmaster, or Bene Gesserit. This choice influences the character’s starting abilities. Players can form guilds and take part in dynamic events like battles for valuable resources during sandstorms.
