Drone attack on Putin, Ukrainian President’s statement also came

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected Russia’s claim that Kiev did not attack Russian President Vladimir Putin with a drone.

According to a foreign news agency, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has said that his country will soon start retaliating against the Russian army on its own soil.

Russia accused Ukraine of attempting to kill President Vladimir Putin in a drone strike on Wednesday and threatened retaliation.

Speaking at a press conference in Finland, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that we have been defending our cities and villages for 15 months, we did not attack Putin or Moscow, we are fighting on our land.

A question why is it in Russia’s interest to accuse Ukraine of trying to kill Putin? In response, Zelensky said that it is very simple, Russia has not won, they can’t just push their army to death any more, they need to convince their people to move forward.

The Ukrainian president also said that he is sure that the West will provide more weapons to Kiev, and that warplanes will be found soon for retaliatory action against Russia.

On Wednesday, the Kremlin said two drones were used in the alleged attack on President Putin’s residence but were disabled by defense systems. The Kremlin called the attack a ‘terrorist’ act.
