Almonte, who is a member of the New Option National Transport Federation (Fenatrano), was with other leaders protesting the high price of fuel in front of the National Palace.
During this week the premium gasoline is sold at RD$278.60 per gallon, while the regular one is RD$262.50.
The optimal diesel costs RD$228.10 and the regular one will cost RD$208.60; the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) about RD$144.40.
