A multiple vehicle pile-up on Friday shook the main viaduct leading into Montevideo. One driver ended up with moderate injuries. It was quite a jolt for those on their way into the city.
Highway Police explained what happened. Several cars piled up on the port viaduct. The crash took place near Lima Street. What exactly caused this rear-end collision is still being figured out.
The driver, whose car was involved, was quickly moved to a health center. Doctors there found he had moderate multiple injuries. Because of the crash, one lane on the viaduct is partly blocked. This could slow things down for commuters.
