Dr. Terry Dubrow: “Ozempic Penis” Is Real, And It’s Good

Botched star Dr. Terry Dubrow has shared new insights on the weight-loss drug Ozempic, specifically regarding its purported effects on male anatomy.

The 67-year-old plastic surgeon introduced the concept of an "Ozempic penis" on a recent Monday, November 24, episode of the iHeartRadio podcast "Between Us." Dubrow declared that this phenomenon "exists."

His wife and co-host, Heather Dubrow, 56, initially speculated the term might relate to erectile dysfunction.

Dr. Dubrow quickly clarified the mechanism, linking it to significant weight loss. He explained that substantial weight gain can lead to a "buried penis syndrome," where the pubic area’s prominence obscures the organ.

With Ozempic-induced weight reduction, Dubrow claimed patients might experience a penis that "looks bigger."

"Men, I want to inform you: Ozempic penis is a reality, and it’s good," he stated. "It’s more noticeable. It hasn’t gotten bigger, but definitely the Ozempic penis will be more noticeable, so congratulations."

Heather Dubrow lightheartedly suggested that men would now "rush to get Ozempic" for this perceived benefit.

She also questioned the apparent gender disparity in Ozempic’s side effects. Heather noted that women might experience negative changes, dubbed "Ozempic vulva," while men seemingly gain an advantage.

"Isn’t it so typical that for women it’s a hassle and for men it’s a perk?" she asked.

Dubrow has previously been open about his personal experience with the medication. In January 2024, the Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind star revealed he tried Ozempic.

He aimed to understand its effects on patients needing to lose only 10 to 15 pounds. Dubrow described his personal weight loss as "amazing."

However, he stopped using it due to side effects, including nausea and a loss of appetite. He stated that he missed the "joy of eating."

During the recent podcast episode, Heather playfully jabbed at her husband. She joked about not paying close attention to his anatomy since he started the medication.

"I better take a look tonight," she quipped.

Dr. Dubrow responded with a confident remark. "You can take a look," he said. "It’s pretty impressive, by the way. The more you know, the more you show."
