Double Homicide Sentence: 20 Years Prison for Humberto Radiccioni in Empalme Olmos Case

Humberto Radiccioni has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the double homicide of his business partners in Empalme Olmos. Although the conviction is not yet final, the Prosecutor’s Office has requested that Radiccioni be transferred from house arrest to effective prison time. So far, he had been serving his pre-trial period under house arrest, as granted by the justice system.

The crime took place on September 21, 2023, at the company premises. Notably, Radiccioni was 76 years old at the time of the incident. The victims, Jorge Percovich, 30, and Nicolás Bruzzone, 42, were his partners in the company. In a startling turn of events, Radiccioni himself called 911 after the crime and confessed to the double murder.

The case is being presided over by Judge María Rocha. The prosecution’s request for Radiccioni to be moved to prison pending the finalization of his conviction underscores the seriousness with which the authorities are treating this case. As the legal process unfolds, it will be crucial to observe how the circumstances of the crime and the defendant’s age are considered in the final judgment.
