Former President of the United States Donald Trump (2017-2021) asked a court this Tuesday to overturn the decision of the state of Maine to exclude him from the Republican primaries in that territory because of his role in the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
The former president is also preparing for it Appeal to the Supreme Court of a similar decision by the Colorado Justice.
Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellowsannounced Trump’s disqualification on December 28, claiming the former president could not run in the election because he took part in an “insurrection.”
