“Naïs in the land of wolves” is the true story of a father and his daughter who set off in the footsteps of the wolves in the Mercantour park. This project gave rise to a documentary which will be broadcast in December on France 3.
The wolf, a fierce and mysterious animal, is filmed at night, in the heart of the Mercantour park. These incredible images were collected for over three years for the film Naïs in the land of wolves, directed by Rémy Masséglia. At the time of filming, in Breil-sur-Roya (Alpes-Maritimes), his daughter, Naïs, was still a baby. She is now four years old.
Many hours of hideout and bivouac were necessary to capture unique moments and understand the functioning and reactions of each species, such as deer. This unspoiled nature has given rise to an exceptional documentary film, which will be broadcast in December on France 3. Naïs in the land of wolves has just been awarded in an international festival of films for children. Little Naïs serves as a guide. With her, we discover and learn a lot of this nature, by dint of complicity and patience. Deer, wolf, chamois or even birds … In three years, Naïs has had time to refine her knowledge.
