The Apple Watch is either an expensive smartwatch, or it wasn’t an Apple product. Unless you have no interest in protecting your investment (apart from the usual precautions), it may make sense to purchase a screen protector or cover for your smartwatch.
After the first few months of using my Apple Watch SE, I debated several times whether it was really necessary to invest in these types of accessories on the watch. This is because I consider myself a careful person. But since “insurance died of old age”, I decided to make an investment.
After doing a lot of research, and deciding between buying a case or just a tempered glass for the screen, I opted for something more complete. I bought a JETech screen protector case, which I honestly didn’t know about, on Amazon.
But when the product came into my hands I noticed the positive reviews. This one has a tempered glass film that doesn’t stick to the screen and a cover to cover the side. This means that in case of accidental falls or touches, the smartwatch is fully protected.
And if you wonder if the screen maintains a good response with this installed, the answer is yes. The screen on my Apple Watch SE continues to respond without any issues. The digital crown is harder to access, but nothing you can’t get used to.
Putting it on is quite simple, since it works by pressure. And since I was wondering if it would collect dust or scratch the watch, after a while of use I took it off. Very little dust collected on the sides which I brushed off easily and without scratches.
The best thing is that we can easily put it back on and take it off for cleaning. The price of about €10 that I paid seems fair to me, especially if we take into account that it comes with two units, in case you have an accident with the first one.

When I buy this case for my Apple Watch, I feel very safe in case of accidental drops or touches. The touches on the screen are maintained without problems, and as I mentioned, it can be removed without problems.
But of course, not everything is perfect. As I mentioned earlier, the digital crown is less accessible due to the volume of the cover. And of course, when we use a case, the aesthetics of the Apple Watch also worsens and increases its volume. It depends on what you value: safety or aesthetics. But this is a five star product if you want security.
