Djokovic’s precious gesture with a fan with cerebral palsy at Roland Garros

Novak Djokovic has once again shown why he is one of the most charismatic tennis players on the circuit. The number one in the world wanted to share on Twitter the story of French fan Arthur Delayewho despite having a physical disability after suffering from cerebral palsy, has not stopped playing tennis, his great passion.

On April 30, Delaye himself published a video on his social networks in which he appears demonstrating his skills on a tennis court and where he expresses his desire to one day play with Nadal and Djokovic. “I play tennis with passion despite my physical disability due to cerebral palsy. I have always been inspired by these two legends: Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic. I dream of playing tennis one day with one of these two champions in Paris to promoting inclusion through tennis,” Delaye wrote next to the video.

Said and done. This Wednesday, after his match against Alex Molcan, Djokovic did not hesitate to greet Delaye and take a photo with him, in addition to promising that he would have that dream come true of playing tennis with him. “It was great meeting you yesterday Arthur! One day we will play, my friend. Keep working hard on the court.” Two great champions who, with this photo, show that there is no barrier that can resist tennis.
