Bollywood Actress Divya Dutta Recalls Emotional Help from Salman Khan During Tough Shoot
Bollywood actress Divya Dutta is known for her intense roles and exceptional acting skills. However, like many others, she too has had to face challenges during her career. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about a particularly difficult shooting experience where she was struggling to film a death scene due to her claustrophobia.
Divya Dutta’s Claustrophobia
According to Divya, she has a strong fear of enclosed spaces and can’t hold her breath for more than a few seconds. This made it challenging to complete the death scene in the film Veergati. At the time, Divya was just 18 years old and was under pressure from the director, who was strict.
Salman Khan Steps In
Just when Divya thought she was going to get scolded by the director, Bollywood star Salman Khan, who was shooting for the same film, intervened. The "Dabangg" star not only helped Divya get through the scene but also ensured the director backed off.
Guiding Divya
Salman sat down with Divya and demonstrated the technique, lying down next to her and guiding her through the breathing exercise. He would say "I’ve held my breath now," and she would follow suit. The director was so impressed with Salman’s intervention that he backed off, allowing Divya to complete the scene.
Lasting Impression
Divya has never forgotten the way Salman helped her in her time of need. She has said that she learned a lot from his kindness and has always appreciated his protective nature. Salman, being the photographer that he is, even went out of his way to take pictures of her, which he then printed on a T-shirt and mug.
Moody Reputation
Regarding Salman’s reputation for being moody, Divya offered a more nuanced perspective. "Anyone can be moody at any time," she said. "Now that he is so popular, it’s natural for stories to be made about his moody nature."
