This disease is spread through contaminated water

Tripathi said that “Kathmandu Upatayak Khanapani Limited” has been requested to monitor the status of water pipeline and sewerage system. The KMC has also directed the urban health centers to be prepared to deal with any possible shortage of oral rehydration salts and water purifying tablets. Cholera is a bacterial disease that is usually spread through contaminated water. This disease causes severe diarrhea and dehydration. If left untreated, it can even prove fatal within a few hours.
