If you are trying to hop into a voice channel right now and getting nowhere, you are not alone. Discord is currently suffering a major technical outage. The blackout has completely broken voice calls for users around the world. The platform has officially confirmed the sudden disruption.
The core issue traps people in an endless connection loop. When users try to connect to a voice server, the app simply freezes on an “awaiting endpoint” message. PC Gamer verified this exact error is hitting the community hard today.
Discord confirms the server crash
The company knows about the blackout. On its official status page, Discord posted a direct update at 1:07 pm PDT acknowledging the problem. “We believe we have identified the issue and are taking action to try and restore voice traffic,” the company said.

Engineers are actively working on a fix. There is no official timeline for when voice channels will fully stabilize. If your app is stuck, restarting it will not bypass the server-side endpoint error. You just have to wait.
