New Delhi: Disagreements in the Congress party, Indian Punjab Chief Minister resigned.
According to Indian media, the Chief Minister of Indian Punjab Amrinder Singh has resigned due to differences in the Congress party. Amrinder Singh took the position that he was feeling ridiculed. This is the third time this has happened to me.
The Punjab Chief Minister resigned during the third meeting of the Congress party. Before his resignation, he said in a telephone conversation with party president Sonia Gandhi that he was resigning from his post.
“I am in the Congress party now, I will consult my supporters and then decide on the future,” Amrinder Singh added.
It may be recalled that over the last few months, several MLAs had expressed distrust in Amrinder Singh, especially Sukhjinder Randhawa, Turpat Rajendra Bajwa, Sukhbandar Sarkaria and Charanjit Channi.
The members said that the promises made during the elections in the year 2017 could not be fulfilled and the government led by Amrinder Singh had failed to solve the problems.
