Director Abhishek Kapoor remembers Sushant Singh Rajput on 5th death anniversary

Abhishek Kapoor still can’t believe it’s been five years since Sushant Singh Rajput’s passing. He says not a single day goes by when he doesn’t think of the actor.

Kapoor directed Sushant in two films: “Kai Po Che!” and “Kedarnath.” He remembers the young actor’s energy and enthusiasm on set. Sushant’s performance in “Kai Po Che!” marked his debut in Bollywood, and he quickly gained recognition for his talent.

On the anniversary of Sushant’s death, Kapoor shared a heartfelt post, saying he’s still in shock and can’t forget the memories they made together. He posted a picture of Sushant from the set of “Kedarnath,” where the actor played the role of Mansoor.

Sushant’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, also paid tribute to her brother on social media. She shared a video message, describing Sushant as more than just an actor – he was a thinker who believed in living life to the fullest and spreading love and knowledge.

Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha also remembered Sushant, saying his death was not just a personal loss but a national tragedy. He admired Sushant’s passion and zest for life, which reminded him of his own early days in the film industry.
